Austin, Texas (PRWEB) April 18, 2018
ReconaSense®, the world’s first Intelligent Security Management System featuring intelligent data and real-time analysis, won Platinum and Gold Govie awards in three distinct categories. The awards, sponsored by Security Today and GovSec, honor outstanding government security products in a variety of categories.
An independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2018 categories and named the winners using criteria including; Features, Innovation, User Friendliness, Interoperability, Quality, Design, Market Opportunity, Impact in the Security Industry, Technical Advances, and Scalability. Platinum awards signified top honors in the security industry, while Gold awards were runner-ups.
ReconaSense, an elite company with a very small number of multi-award winners, won the following Govie awards:
- Security & Risk Intelligence – Platinum (The only qualifying product)
This award honors companies utilizing data to dynamically and autonomously monitor and impact overall risk levels and responses. ReconaSense’s breakthrough “Intelligent Data Platform” was the only solution to meet winning criteria in this category. It flips the security industry from a post-event/forensic paradigm to a proactive, real-time world. Governments and enterprises can now detect and learn from suspicious combinations of events, empowering users to preemptively respond before an incident occurs. - Convergence and Integrated Software and Solutions – Platinum This award honors software companies excelling at the integration of disparate data. ReconaSense’s breakthrough “Integration Platform” is a big data solution that uniquely commonizes data from virtually any sensor or data source, empowering operators with a truly holistic view of concerning events in real-time. True sensor-fusion has finally arrived.
- Access Control Software/Controllers – Gold This award honors advances in Access Control, where ReconaSense’s Access Control redefines simplicity and granularity. Built for the Internet of Things, ReconaSense Access Control is highly intuitive and customizable with its tile/touchscreen interface. It offers unsurpassed levels of specificity and control, ideal for complex command and control environments.
“We are honored to receive these awards that recognize our efforts to help Governments address very real and very dangerous challenges. Our team has leveraged our deep experience with artificial neural networks to build a unique solution set designed to meet the demands of the future of physical security. The time is right to change the game, and we believe our software is the answer that security professionals need to finally have the power to mitigate security threats before they happen,” said John Carter, president and chief technology officer of ReconaSense.
Additionally, the company’s thought leadership will be spotlighted at the upcoming Interop ITX conference which helps technology leaders keep up with the challenges and drive their businesses forward. Clayton Brown, vice president of business development for ReconaSense, will be presenting “The Future of Physical Security” at the conference in Las Vegas beginning April 30, 2018.
