Meet our Management Team
Before Recon, Kevin managed Aerospace and Defense for Stanley, Black & Decker, working with commercial and defense industrial base clients. He held senior leadership roles with SBD in business development, sales, and operations. Before SBD, Kevin worked for Stanley Security, a manufacturer of access control, security, and hardware as Government BD Senior Manager. Before Stanley Security, he worked as a government civilian with the US Army while serving as a Reservist in the US Navy. Kevin became a GS-15 and Director of C4ISR in the Army, where he worked in advanced technology communications and network programs. Kevin retired from the US Navy after 12 years of Active Duty and 12 Years in the Reserves, holding the rank of Commander.

Ken Eickmann, Lt. General
Lieutenant General Kenneth Eickmann has served in a number of leadership positions in the U.S. Air Force. He served as a commander at Aeronautical Systems Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, in Ohio. There he led the Air Force’s center of excellence for research, development and acquisition of aircraft, aeronautical equipment and munitions. General Eickmann also served as commander at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, the largest military and industrial complex in the Department of Defense. Today he serves on a number of boards and is Deputy Director, Center for Energy Security at University of Texas.
Al Gold
Al is a widely known and respected security industry executive who has led sales teams to great success over several decades.
Among other roles, Al was Senior Vice President for Ultrak where he led International CCTV Sales as well as national accounts. During his tenure he drove tremendous growth in the company’s long global relationship with Walmart. Since 2002 he has been a global mergers & acquisitions consultant focused primarily on the security industry.
Steve Lindsey
Steve Lindsey, CPP, is a security and loss prevention industry expert. He developed his expertise serving in several Security and Loss Prevention roles during his 35-year career at Walmart Stores, Inc. Steve started his career by leading multiple regions within the Walmart Stores Division. He continued his career leading the Sam’s Club Loss Prevention Division, Walmart Homeland Security, Walmart Security Technology and Global Security Services, a division of Walmart with over 300 team members.
James Treybig
Jimmy was Tandem Computer’s principal Founder and served as CEO from 1974 to 1996. Under his leadership, Tandem was ranked by Inc. magazine as the fastest growing public company is America in 1980. Jimmy was recognized by UPSIDE Magazine as one of the “100 People Who Changed Our World” and by Silicon Valley’s Software Development Forum for its “2002 Visionaries – Silicon Valley Pioneers.” He was honored for his support of entrepreneurship as a 2008 Austin Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award recipient. Jimmy received the Entrepreneur of the Year awards from both Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Graduate School of Business. Based in Austin, Texas, Jimmy is currently a Venture Partner with NEA, working closely with their information technology practice sourcing new deals and evaluating new investment opportunities. Current board memberships include TabbedOut, eRelevance and Network Kinetix.
